Welcome to Nimble Hire! We're so glad you've chosen Nimble as your applicant tracking system.

Before your jobs can appear on the statewide job board, your Nimble job board link needs to be the only way for candidates to apply on your district website.

Below are instructions you can forward to the person who updates your organization's website, along with your unique Nimble job board link. Once done, email us at [email protected] and we'll enable your jobs on the statewide job board!


βœ… Best Practices for Your Careers Page

1. Make your careers page easy to find

Most candidates look for "Jobs," "Careers," or "Employment" from your main website menu. Make sure your careers page is listed under one of these labels.

2. Help candidates understand why they should work with you

Start your careers page with a short paragraph about your district's mission, community, and what you offer employees. This helps attract the right candidates.

3. Make it easy to find jobs and apply on mobile

We suggest adding a prominent button labeled "View Open Positions" that's visible above the fold β€” meaning candidates can see it without scrolling. This button should link to your unique Nimble job board, which is fully optimized for mobile.

4. Remove any existing job postings or application instructions

Keep things simple for candidates by using Nimble as the one place they go to see your job openings and complete an application for any type of role. Remove any old PDF applications, Google Forms, or manual application instructions from your website.

Can I use other job boards while also using Nimble Hire?

Yes! You can use Nimble Hire in conjunction with other job boards. When posting to external job boards, include a link back to your Careers page or directly to Nimble as the method for candidates to apply. This ensures all applications are centralized within your Nimble account.

Is Nimble just for teaching jobs or for all jobs?

You can post all of your roles within Nimble Hire β€” they will all appear on your district job board. However, only teaching roles will appear on the statewide job board.

How should candidates apply to our jobs? Where is the application?

Candidates apply directly through Nimble. When you post a job, you can add custom application questions and requirements (such as a resume upload). You can use the same application for all jobs or create variations by job type (e.g., teaching vs. non-teaching).

What should happen to my current PDF- or form-based application?

Please remove your existing application from your website and use Nimble as the only way to apply. This keeps things simple for both candidates and your team, since all applications will be in one place. When setting up jobs in Nimble, you can ensure the required fields match those from your previous application.
